About This Game Subsistence is a sandbox, first person, solo or co-op, PvE open-world survival game. Struggle to build a base and gear-up in the hostile environment. Defend yourself from wildlife and AI hunters (who also build bases in the world). Progress your base technology for advanced item crafting and upgrades. Farm crops, raise small animals and harvest and refine resources to rise in dominance in the world. If you enjoy open-world sandbox survival games, resource gathering and grinding to build a base, you may enjoy playing the early access version of the game.Current features:* Singleplayer and Co-op PvE sandbox experience.* Crafting mechanics. * Dynamic base building. * Weapon upgrade system. * Mining and refining of ores. * AI Hunters (with AI base building).* Farming. * Animal husbandry. * Food cooking mechanics. * World day-night cycle. * Temperature change based on time-of-day and altitude. * Character hunger/thirst/strength mechanics. * Character clothing system. * System for inviting/removing players to access bases. * Central power system for bases (base items require power to function). * Npc enemy leveling system.DISCLAIMER (PLEASE READ):The public Early Access is intended for those interested in supporting the project and participating in it's continued development. You will most likely experience balancing issues, performance issues, bugs and missing features. If you are looking for a complete gaming experience, I would recommend allowing some time before trying out the game. There are many YouTube game-plays showing the current state of game. I am the sole developer of the project, which I work on in my spare time as a passion project. I feel this is important to mention, so that those considering playing the game can make a more informed purchase decision. A full detailed list of the updates since launch can be viewed here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/418030/allnews/.Goals of the project:The aim is to integrate the kinds of base-resource micro-management typically found in RTS titles, into a boots-on-the-ground shooter. Each base has an underlying economy of power and raw materials that must be maintained and expanded in order to rise in dominance. The focus is not of primitive survival (although there are many elements during the early-game), but instead a focus on the base, its security, technology and resources. 7aa9394dea Title: SubsistenceGenre: Action, Early AccessDeveloper:ColdGamesPublisher:ColdGamesRelease Date: 25 Oct, 2016 Subsistence Full Crack [portable] I don't understand how this game possibly has any good reviews. You can eat 5 potato's and 7 deer within a 24 hour period and still starve to death. It's easier to craft bullets than arrows. You can also craft bullets out of thin air. 9mm handgun bullets do equivalent to 10 damage. Meaning you will likely need 2-3 clips on larger animals. This calculates to around 300+ bullets needed for the meat that is dropped to successfully stay above 30% hunger for 5 hours. Fishing requires larve which you get one per a rare tree you have to find. If the fishing is unsuccessful you will need to refind a new larva and recraft.. Winter spawn kills and wolves eat entire pistol magazines before two shooting you.... PVP- Do not buy. this is a solo game and PVP is pointless at this point. People build bases in the sky and if you try and build a legit base it will be raided when you are offline. 12 hours of work erased. if you are interested in playing online this game is not ready and needs a lot of work.Solo- run around collecting backpacks with the loot you need and slowly build up supplies over time.... just saved you hours of playing. that sums it up. on my computer the games looks amazing and plays amazing. how you progress and long term survive is the killer.. I do like the game, however a few things need to be fixed.Cons:1. You start with a pistol with 7 bullets, it takes 6 bullets to kill a level 1 wolf. Wolves and bears are easy to avoid, assuming you don't have any hills or boulders blocking your line of sight. This is, unfortunately, not the best way to survive. Chickens and rabbits take 2 bullets to kill, if you shoot either they run... but if you shoot a wolf it runs straight at you making it easier to kill in a sad twist. The bow, which the game tells you to make to hunt chickens and rabbits is super clunky and also kills them in one hit... well it "stuns" them... if you can hit them.2. You must maintain your health, i.e. you need hydration(water and some fruits), protein(meat, and protein bars), micro-nutrients(fruits, vegetables, and a tiny bit from livers) Hydration is the easiest to maintain, taking 2 or more days before you're critically low. However lakes and ponds are everywhere, you start with a metal flask, and all you have to do is boil the water in the flask. The ridiculous part is you can go from a full stomach to dead from starvation in about 1 in game day.3. Even in the middle of a lake wolves and bears will attack you, I understand aggro but to be in the middle of the lake and have one of them charge from the shore straight into the water to kill you makes no sense... or even them following you in and rather than trying to swim properly they keep swinging at you which, irl, would make them drown.4. Raw meat spoils in less than 1 in game day.... I shouldn't need to explain this.5. You can spawn in with a bear or wolf within aggro range.... making you dead before you even start.Pros:1. The devs are actually working at it.2. Having seen footage from earlier builds, it has made some huge strides.3. Wolves and bears can spawn on a boulder in the middle of a huge lake... Which makes me giggle every time I see it.4. The game is very beautiful.Right now I can't recommend this game. It will get better though, I've seen the steps taken.. The game sucks, the single developer insulted me via private mail :{. PLEASE for the love of god do not buy this game. It looks like its good, but I bet they spawned in the items used. No map, difficulty is hard even when on normal or easy, everything is HORRIBLE!. In game day 1: Help, there's a bear near my base, I'm trapped! In game day 25: There's a bear near my base, looks like bear is back on the menu!If you don't like having to gather materials and food a lot, this is a nice survival game that gives you good options for building a base and surviving.. This game legitimately sucks, like beyond belief. I made the mistake of starting fresh to play with a group of friends and we spent 30 minutes just trying to get a start and were barely able to meet up without constant animal spawns literally violently shoving you against the ground and asserting their dominance over your cold dead corpse. You finally get a good start up but half the game is trying to find RNG lootsacks that are scattered everywhere and are so incredibly tedious that it's ridiculous, not mentioning that the ones you need are probably guarded by a bunch of ferocious ♥♥♥♥♥♥ unity animals everywhere that attack in 360s while gaining strength as they devour you. The games just a broken tedious mess, although it had or perhaps still has the potential to actually become good, it's weighed down by bad developmental decisions. Start me and my friends together, lose the lootsacks and figure out some other way of incorporating what they drop, and seriously fix the animals.
