Macro-focused, slower paced and deeply engaging, Grey Goo merges the classic Westwood RTS (C&C, Red Alert) with modern finesse and excellent design (courtesy of Weta Workshops). If you are like me, this is one purchase you will never regret.. This game deserves credit for at least one thing which is surprisingly rare lately: Grey Goo is a proper RTS.It's not the flashiest, it's not the most innovative, and it's not the most immersive, but it is innovative, the story is worthwhile and the cutscenes add a lot to the atmosphere.Since the game's pace is slower than the current kings of RTS (Blizzard games) the multiplayer is enjoyable also for competent casual players. If you like RTS's, in my opinion, this should be in your collection.Enjoy :). Finally Petroglyph dropped the F2P MOBA crap and returned to their roots. A classic RTS with base building, unit spamming and silly voice accents.. A great oldschool RTS. Campaign is great, cutscenes are top-notch, visuals are fantastic. If you love Command and Conquer, StarCraft or pretty much any other RTS then you'll be right at home with this game.(also Frank Klepacki did the music, instantly worth it). This is a refreshing addition to the RTS genre. This game has already become one of my all time favorite RTSs and I can see myself playing it for a long time. Worth every penny. I highly recommend it.
